Why Steel Fence Posts?

So why use steel fence posts?

Materials are the biggest variable in the cost of your new fence.  If you go with the lowest bidder, you'll get what you pay for. Installing a new fence or replacing your old fence is no small investment these days. Here's why we think steel fence posts are worth the investment.

Pressure treated fence posts

Pressure treated 4x4 posts are probably the least expensive option, but they warp, twist and crack in our dry Colorado climate.  We highly advise against any pressure treated materials in your new fence.

Cedar wood posts

Cedar 4x4 posts are a step up in price and quality.  While they do not warp and crack as badly as pressure treated posts, they will eventually rot in the ground and snap off in the next wind storm.

fence posts

PostMaster posts are heavy gauge galvanized steel designed specifically for fence applications. While more expensive, they are by far your best investment. They will not rot or warp like wood posts, and are rated to 73mph winds.

Creatively Concealed

Another cool think about PostMaster steel fence posts is that they can be creatively concealed so your whole fence looks like beautiful wood and you never see the posts.
